Located on the Downtown Line in the Bukit Timah area of Singapore, Beauty World MRT station is an underground stop. The underground station located in the heart of Bukit Timah on the Downtown Line is a hub for the Upp Bukit-Batok corridor. Located near Jalan Jurong Kechil, it serves the area around Upper Bukit Timah and Toh Yi Estate. The Beauty World MRT station takes its name from a former amusement park, and is close to Bukit Timah Shopping Centre, Beauty World Plaza, Bukit Timah Market, and Bukit Timah Market & Food Centre.

There are four bus stops at the Beauty World MRT station. One is connected directly to the station, while the other is linked to the station via an underground escalator. Commuters can also use the two-level concourse for access to the station’s toilets and a public toilet. A passenger service center at the station functions as an information point, and there is a tactile floor to aid those with disabilities.

Located at the intersection of the Downtown Line and Newton MRT station, Beauty World and King Albert Park MRT stations, both are accessible by public transport. The SMRT provides a daily bus service from Opp Orchard Stn to Aft Upp Bt Timah Rd. The ride costs between $1 and $2. Both bus services leave the station about every 15 minutes.

Joomak Korean Restaurant

If you love Korean food, the Joomak Korean Restaurant in Upper Bukit Tiah and Beauty World Properties in Singapore will be a great option. You can choose between the normal-sized Black Bean Sauce Noodles ($12) or the larger Big Plate ($25), which is more filling and includes more ingredients. The regular Black Bean Sauce Noodles were delicious and satisfying alone. The wheat noodles were thin and slippery, and the black sauce had a pronounced sweetness and rich flavours. In addition, a good proportion of chopped onions kept the bowl from being boring.

If you’re interested in eating authentic Korean cuisine, the Joo Mak Korean Restaurant located on the fourth floor of the Beauty World Centre is worth a try. The restaurant’s KBBQ is top-notch, and it has an entire section on the menu dedicated to the dish. You can choose between Sweet, Spicy, or Spicy Soy KFC, and there are three other varieties available. You can also opt for the Boneless Chicken for $30.
